Welcome!
Thanks for considering to adopt a rescue rabbit! Filling out our adoption application form is the first step:
What else does the adoption process involve?
We will ask you to organise an adequate indoor setup and supplies, and provide photos
It is very important to us that our rescue rabbits go to homes that provide an environment where they can be happy, healthy and safe.
This is why
- we only adopt to indoor homes, to ensure they are safe from viruses, predators and poor weather conditions.
- we ask you to organise an adequate setup and supplies as part of the adoption application process:
- Playpen
- Play tunnel
- Litter tray
- Litter
- High quality pellets
- Two types of hay
- Hay feeder
- Water bowl and food bowl
- Pet carrier
- Hidey house or other enrichment (optional)

You can buy the All-You-Need Starter Pack, or pick one of our other options outlined in our brand new Shopping Guide. You just need to place one or two online orders to get everything you need.
We will ask you for a pay-it-forward donation
All our rabbits are desexed, health-checked, dental-checked, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed.
Once you are approved and you are ready to adopt, we ask you to pay-it-forward donation of $265 or more if you wish to adopt a single rabbit, and for $365 or more if you wish to adopt a pair. This allows us to rescue the next rescue rabbit.
What will happen right after I submit my application?
You will immediately receive an email asking you to organise all items from our Equipment checklist and to upload them on our Photo Upload Form. If you don't receive an email please also check your spam folder. If you cannot find it there either, please let us know.
You might also receive a text message from one of our volunteers after a few days, asking if you need any support.
How much time do I have to submit my photos?
We would kindly ask you to send your photos within 14 days, or to let us know if you need more time or support from us.
